Tasseled Tapestry shops Beret

This Tasseled Tapestry Beret is made from a repurposed skirt I found on a sale rack. The Turkish tapestry material caught my eye, woven in threads of mint green, sky blues and copper. I thought it would shops make a lovely slouchy beret. To accent the colors I attached a copper silky tassel to a button covered in the same tapestry material. I lined the hat with a magenta, teal, and black woven material. The hat can easily be shaped to personalize how it sits on one's head. Enjoy.

This particular hat size is 22.50 inches. (How to measure your head for a hat link: http://www.ulster.ac.uk/academicservices/student/hatsizing.pdf ) Remove the tassel before washing the hat. All fabric has been washed before sewing. To clean, hand wash in cold water and LINE DRY. If it needs to be pressed, use steam on lowest setting and iron on the wrong side.
