Product code: Original Mercedes 250S Radio shops Delete Plate, Dashboard Panel

This piece is from the dashboard of a 1960s Mercedes 250S, and is referred to as a Radio Delete Plate (or Panel). It occupies the space in the center of the dash, and can be removed to install a radio, or to fill that space. It's a beautiful piece of wood, probably mahogany, with the chrome 250 S badge and clips on each side for holding it in place. It also has a length of copper wire between the clips (easily removed), that a previous owner used to hang it on a wall.

A great piece for a Mercedes buff or ideally, a 250 S owner who needs to fill that hole in the dashboard where the radio was! Photo #6 shows what it looks like in Larry Hansen's 1967 Mercedes 250S. It's about 7.25" wide by 2.25" tall.
