A Pet Portrait Mug is a great way to celebrate and memorialize your furry friends!
This artwork is entirely handmade by me and made to order. I take orders on first-come-first-served basis, please order early if you have a specific due date in mind. This listing is for a single mug, featuring one pet with several options for stamps on the handle.

GETTING STARTED
#1 Place your order.
Select the size and text for the handle.
#2 Upload Photos after Checkout
Send photos via an Etsy Message directly from your order confirmation. Please submit a high-resolution photo: front facing, good lighting and close-up (be sure not to crop out the ears!) The better quality the photo the more accurate the portrait will turn out.
#3 Production
Once the carving for the mold is complete you will receive an update, changes can be made at this time.
#4 It's a wrap!
When the mug is complete you will receive a photo prior to shipping for final approval. From beginning to end the process takes about 3-4 weeks (a little longer during peak shopping seasons, please order early if you need it by a certain date).


DETAILS
Each mug is individually hand-built in a durable stoneware clay body. The bottom has a knobby foot and is stamped with my brand "Hadley Clay". The animal featured is painted using underglazes against the natural clay background and covered completely with a thick coat of transparent gloss glaze. The colors will never fade. It is kiln fired to 2000 degrees.
Food safe, non-toxic.
Microwave and dishwasher safe.
Standard mug size - 4" tall, holds 14 ounces.
Includes gift box.

PHOTO TIPS
I can only use a JPEG or PDF, minimum 200 dpi, measuring at least 3"x5"
I work directly from the photo that you provide. Feel free to send additional photos depicting the markings or coloring to give me a clear idea of the pet's essence.
Natural lighting is the best choice as it allows you to photograph the true color of your pet. Flash photos are harsh and may alter the colors.
Eye color (especially shops in cats) changes in different lighting, please let me know the eye color, even if it looks obvious to you!
