New never used. Crafted of beechwood in a Natural Beechwood finish. The wood used for Peugeots mills is sourced from PEFCTM-certified European forests. Each mill is assembled in France at our site in Franche-Comt. To protect environment, post manufacturing waste-wood (chips and sawdust) is collected and recycled. Pepper mill is made of case hardened steel that cracks peppercorns shops before grinding. Salt mill is made of stainless steel that is engineered to resist corrosion. Grind adjusts from fine to coarse.
