When I first saw this gorgeous vintage black floral panel I fell in love! I believe it to be 1950s era, with its dyed tiny bouquets. I find the detail of the floral bouquets remarkable, as well as the colors. This wool is fine quality with a soft touch. It also has a beautiful drape and weight.
I've paired it with a shops shear black ro silk which has just two little white flowers. These are used for cutting marks. This silk was from an unused bolt.
This scarf is the perfect travel companion as it can be used to dress up an outfit or just to cover the shoulders. The weight would be perfect for a cool summer evening.
I have hand laundered both of these panels before sewing but recommend dry clean for future cleaning.
It measures 13 inches x 69 inches.
