When I do this style of drawing I tend to go into a bit of a meditative state.
I allow the lines and colors to come about intuitively as I work, rather than to plan ahead, which is an interesting journey when the piece turns out great, but also a bummer when something goes sideways a few hours in!
I have been creating many of these drawings over the last several months, leaving some black and white, coloring in others completely, or adding just a touch of color to others.
They are abstract and sometimes a bit surreal and I hope that you might find an emotional or visually pleasing connection with one or the other of them.
