Daisy shops Flower Glass Mosaic Hummingbird Feeder

A part of my new summer flower garden feeder series! Who doesn't love a happy daisy? The perfect gift for the bird lover in your life! This listing is for one made to order handcrafted, glass mosaic hummingbird feeder measuring approximately 10 3/4 inches tall and 7 inches wide at the feeding base. The round mosaic surface is approximately 7 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches. The glass on glass liquid food container holds approximately 12 oz and is designed with a beautifully sun-catching daisy flower design in natural color textures of white, yellow, clear, sky blue, light green, grass green, and tan in a grass and sky landscape. There are four daisy flowers (two large, two small) on shops this feeder. Each piece of glass is hand cut and secured to the base glass with adhesive and grouted in white. The glass is just transparent enough to reflect the sunlight beautifully and also show the liquid level for easy refilling. The cap and base are made of sturdy copper-tone metal and has a perch ring and metal flower petals that dispense the food. Both the cap and base screw onto the glass container for easier cleaning and refilling. The adhesive and grout used is weather resistant, however to extend it's life (and prevent the glass breaking due to a fall), I would recommend hanging in an area that is partially covered from harsh wind, rain, and hail such as a porch or deck overhang or the lower branches of a tree. Periodic cleaning of the glass and grout with water and cleaner is fine (I recommend vinegar and water for maximum shine), but to give your feeder a long life, submersion or soaking in water or solution is discouraged. The bird feeder comes with a coated metal wire hanger that loops securely through the cap for quick hanging in your favorite bird-watching location. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Rinse the inside with hot, soapy water as needed. Please DO NOT soak the outside (glass and mosaic) in water or cleaner as the adhesive and grout may loosen and chip off. To clean the glass mosaic surface, simply apply a little vinegar to a soft cloth or sponge and carefully wipe to clean the glass and restore the shine--be careful, glass edges can be sharp! Use a scrap cloth as it is possible that the glass edges can snag the cloth during cleaning.
