This nostalgic piece is definitely one to add to the collection. This is a rare, antique, primitive, tin, cricket, clicker, noisemaker toy. There is no mark, but looks European, perhaps German. It is an unpainted, metal clicker measuring .75 x 2 inches in size. It is an Egyptian-style beetle my guess would be probably pre-World War and a precursor to the lithograph type made later and still today. He shops is in rust free, great condition. still works perfectly and is ready to make some noise!! If you are a collector of clickers, you won't find another out there like this guy. This item would be considered a choking hazard and not appropriate for a child under 5 years of age.
