1950s shops Vintage Mens Overcoat Grey Lambswool Coat Size M L

This is an early 1960s or late 1950s vintage mens overcoat featuring a quality lambswool. The wool is woven with a fine pinstripe in a darker grey than the background grey. This vintage mens overcoat is made with high set, narrow width notched lapels shops, short belts at the cuffs and has a three button closure. There is a flapped pocket built into either side and a 12 1/2” kick vent at the back. This vintage mens overcoat is lined with two toned satin fabric across the upper back and down the front interior. The wool is in a light to medium weight.
Label: Bond Tailored-to-Measure Stores Across Canada. The Bond Clothes retail store chain was founded in Cleveland in 1914. The original store grew into a chain of 150 stores by the 1960s and had manufacturing facilities employing 2500 people during the 1930s. Its executive offices and flagship store were located on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
