This light switch cover is made by laying glass powder onto the copper plate and fireing in a kiln at 1700 degrees. At that temp. it is in the kiln for only a few minuets and comes out glowing red. As soon as the piece is cool and I can touch it I can work on the next layer of enamel. Each piece is fired one at a time and in the kiln for 2-7 times depending on the design. Even if I make the same design again no 2 are exactly alike.

Each shops plate comes with copper screws.
