Brecciated Jasper Cabochon, Designer Cabochons Handmade by MagicStones

This is a rare cabochon of Brecciated Jasper. It is composed of cherry chocolate colored jasper with agate gluing the gem together. It was cut from some rough I acquired from an old estate. The only identification on the stone was "Coastal California."

42mm x 36mm x 6.5mm
3.5mm girdle
88.5 carats

I make all my cabochons by hand in my home studio. Unless otherwise noted all my gems are domed on the front and are flat with a slight bevel on the back for ease of setting. The sides are cut at a slight angle. I polish the front, back and sides of each stone. There are no holes drilled in any of my stones unless noted shops in the description.
