These classic hand forged shops tomahawks look and feel authentic because they are authentic. They are made from mild steel with an inlaid 1075 high carbon steel bit using the traditional "wrap and weld" method.
The 'Red Tail' features an 18" handle. The head is 6" long, 1&1/2" at the Poll and 3" at the edge.
The Sharp Shin features a 15" handle. The head is 5&1/4" long, 1&1/4" at the poll and 2&1/2" at the edge. These 'hawks are great for target throwing, but make no mistake, they are the real deal suitable for hiking, backpacking, re-enactment.
The Sharp shin head fits a standard 'mouse hawk' handle and the Red Tail will fit a traditional tomahawk handle from House Handle Co.
