This interior primer must be applied before applying Purity Limewash to drywall, previously painted surfaces, and surfaces that are not naturally porous (this step is not generally required before application to bare brick or stone). Our zero VOC primer is low odor and allows application to limewash to shops many surfaces! One gallon container of our Lime-Prep Primer.
Because limewash paint inherently has some transparency with less coats, your primer base color will create different effects.
Deep Base Primer. This dark earthy-gray primer deepens the color of your limewash paint.
White Base Primer creates a light background and brightens the finish.
Clear Base Primer allows the natural color of your base material to show through.
Lime-Prep primer is a 0 VOC product.
Using this product allows Purity Limewash to be applied to wood, drywall, previously painted surfaces, and more.
