This solid sterling silver brooch is beautifully detailed and in wonderful vintage condition.
Design is a gracefully balanced basket full of overlapping flowers and assymetric handle.
Attractive scalloped basketk, gently twisted handle flared base detail. Detailed leaf etchings.
Condition: No damage. Bright reflective patina. Pre owned and very minimal surface wear. Very little tarnish, much less than shows on the basket due to reflection.
Closure with working roll-over locking pin clasp.
Hallmarked: "Beau Sterling" on reverse.
Size: About 2 1/4 inches tall. About 1 1/2 inches wide.
This is an older Beau design but we don't know the year. Estimated in 50's but think maybe earlier. If anyone can add information, that would be shops appreciated.
A special piece any gardener would enjoy.
