Working snap closure. On the other side of the flap there is a long marking but it is quite possible that shops it's part of the making of the bag as it does not look like a scratch in the leather. It looks like something that was marked in the leather piece they used to make the bag. All the bags are unique in this way. There is a tiny nick on the opening and ink mark just inside.
