1910-1920s lithograph print of Gabriel de Max's Veronicas Veil. Christ's eyes are closed-or are they? Held @ a certain angle/under dim light eyes appear open. Image made using 14 colors precisely for that effect. On image, below Christ, reads "Jesus Christus". Top right shops, Gab Max, left 1804. Bottom left A223 Pub By Close, Graham & Scully. Back has handwritten number & writing I can't make out. Good antique condition. Front is glossy, the backside more paper. Signs of wear, most notably a large crease thru the backside top left but not too noticeable from the front. The 4 back corners appear to have been taped/stuck somewhere at one point.
